The semiconductor fingerprint head uses a capacitive reading system to form fingerprint information by using the grooves and ridges of the fingerprint (including the epidermis and dermis) and the capacitance change between the reading surfaces; if criminals want to forge the owner's fingerprint to open the door, not only need to obtain The owner's fingerprint, but also forged objects similar to biological objects, forgery is more difficult than the optical fingerprint head.

Both types of fingerprint heads can correctly identify the owner's fingerprint, and both have a higher level of security. The difference is that the former type is cheaper, and the latter type is much more expensive. The former type can be used for ordinary households and commercial use. The first type can be used in important departments such as banks and treasuries, but more and more fingerprint lock manufacturers are also using semiconductor fingerprint heads.
